I was diagnosed to have Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia early this year. I have already completed 4 cycles of chemotherapy. The doctor is now referring a bone marrow transplant. Please guide us.

I am really sorry to hear about your diagnosis. CLL is a very heterogeneous disease with some variants not requiring any treatment to more aggressive variants where survival may be limited to 18 months without treatment. Treatment is recommended for aggressive, advanced, high-risk variants of CLL. There is no single standard treatment for CLL. Except for hematopoietic stem cell transplant cure cannot be achieved in CLL, so if your doctor has recommended for a transplant, it would be with an aim to achieve long-term remission.
