Hey. Can cancer be passed on genetically?

Hi Sarah, certain genes have been found to be associated with the occurrence of cancers in familial generations. So these cancer-causing genes (which if present) for cancers like breast and colon can be passed on genetically in up to 10% of cases.

Hope this helps, have a nice day.
